Đorđe and Divna are young people whose freedom is limited. Divna dreamed of being a famous singer, but she was forced to sing in a tavern and perform striptease, while Djordje's own mother limited his freedom out of fear that he would leave her like his father did.
The two of them meet and connect thru music, and they experience a romantic love affair. They plan to help each other, to break free from the shackles and chains that bind them, but they face many obstacles that hold them back and which they must overcome to succeed...
