The case of the girl Maša Artuković, who is suspected of being possessed by Satan, brings together a priest who has fallen from grace and is preparing to perform an exorcism; the psychiatrist Sofija, who is hostile to religion; Lidija, a journalist for church television who wants to expose the exorcism, her cameraman Boris, who has known Maša since childhood, and Maša's sister Vera, steeped in religious fanaticism, who welcomes them all in the hope that her sister's condition will improve.
