Denis Marković is a talented footballer who reached the very top of world football at a very young age, but due to character issues, he failed to maintain that level.
After returning to Belgrade, his manager, Chucky, tries to find him a new club, but due to his reputation, he is unsuccessful. Denis is slowly forgetting about football and focusing on going out. Chucky gets into trouble because of gambling and is forced to pay off his debt to loan sharks Sonny and Johnny with the management rights to Dennis.
Sonny and Johnny find Dennis in a desperate physical and mental state. They're trying to bring him into line, but Dennis refuses any cooperation. Just as Sonny and Johnny are thinking of giving up, their friend Mackie, known for his difficult character, gets out of prison.
Maki becomes Denisov's guardian and constant companion. The two of them enter into an open battle from the start, but little by little, Maki manages to reach Dennis with his unconventional methods. Denis is getting back in shape and getting a chance with a Serbian first-division team. After a spectacular performance in his new club's jersey, he is once again in the media spotlight. A new problem arises when she catches the eye of the hot-tempered manager, Omer, who will stop at nothing to get what he wants.
