Loan Shark is a Serbian film from 2021, directed by Nemanja Ćeranić and written by Strahinja Madžarević
The film tells the story of Mundir, a money lender and former boxer who suffers from diabetes. He's an old-fashioned man who understands that times have changed, and the nature of a loan shark's business is now different: everything is done through contracts and lawyers; there are no more threats and beatings like before. Lately, he's had a lot of complaints and almost ended up in jail.
The uniform always adhered strictly to its code: no one ever owes him anything, and he never gives money to drug addicts. Because of this, he built a name that is spoken with great respect. Due to problems with applications and the worsening of his diabetes, Mundir is in the process of starting a legal business - opening a gym with an aerobics and martial arts studio. The uniform wants to withdraw from the dirty business, but it won't be as easy as he thinks.
