The conflict between two families in the picturesque village of Dola hides a secret kept for decades. It's time to resolve that conflict. After the police arrest his daughter Miona along with a well-known Belgrade dealer, Dejan Matić decides to close his architectural studio and move to Dol, his father's hometown, with his daughter.
Despite Miona's resistance, he carries out his plan, hoping to separate his daughter from bad company and bad habits in Dola and restore the closeness they lost during Miona's upbringing and Dejan's focus on his career. However, instead of the expected peace, secrets and unresolved relationships await them in the Valley, ready to tangle things up for them and everyone around them and cause an unexpected turn of events, but also revealing a part of family history that their ancestors wanted to hide.
Upon their arrival, they are greeted by Dejan's uncle Velibor, who announces the events in the village—the investor wants to cut down the old Zabran forest and build a hotel complex there. Why some locals are willing to do this while others are terrified remains to be seen in this story.
