The main character, Mileva, is the head of the household; she knows everything, can do everything, and understands everything. A pensioner who spent her working life as the secretary to the mayor.
A confident, energetic, resourceful, and sharp-witted woman who has all the information and spreads it through traditional means. Her daily life unfolds in an apartment with her daughter Natalija and granddaughter Sonja, who is Mileva's successor in a modern version because she shares her knowledge, advice, and gossip on social media. Mileva is not only an authority within her family but also in the entire building, which is a true microcosm with a whole spectrum of colorful characters whose contradictions give rise to witty plots and unexpected twists.
For many of them, existence without Mileva is unimaginable, and some know that without Mileva, everything would simply be boring. Within the building, which is a true amalgamation of different characters, there is also the Tavolino cafe owned by old Belgrade charmer Dača and a hair salon run by the combative and direct Jeca from Kaluđerica.
