Sanremo is a 2020 Slovenian drama film directed by Miroslav Mandić. It premiered at the 2020 Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in November 2020 and was selected as the Slovenian entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 94th Academy Awards.
A love story pieced together from fragments of memories triggered by a song. Bruno lives in a nursing home, where he enjoys romantic moments with Duša. His love is enduring and persistent, but his memory is fragile. Every time they part, Bruno's memory of her leaves with Soul. Every time they meet, they get to know each other all over again. When he's alone, memories from the past flood back to Bruni uncontrollably, and he wants to escape to return home and to his old life. But that life is gone now. His special relationship with the Soul relies on a shared memory from their youth, the song "Non ho l'età" by Gigliola Cinquetti.
