Some Better People is a family series whose main characters are members of the Urošević and Graovac families. The dramatic action is driven by events that bring the protagonists into situations through which their personal interests and ambitions will be revealed, intertwined with strong mutual emotions.
Three generations under one roof, in the neighboring apartments of Graovac and Urošević, provide the ideal setting for generational and value system conflicts, as well as fine humor. Đuro and his wife, Jovanka, belong to the post-war baby boomer generation that was educated, worked, and raised children in the socialist spirit.
Dragan and Marija are representatives of Generation X, who spent the best years of their lives during the 1990s. And while Marija managed to climb high in the corporate hierarchy, Dragan accepted the role of homemaker. Nikola, Sara, and Filip are children of the new millennium, a generation for whom online life is as important as reality. However, when primal urges like love catch up with them, they will be forced to turn inward and confront their feelings. Then they slowly begin to realize that in the virtual world, you can't hide from reality.
