South Wind 2: Speed Up is a 2021 Serbian crime film, directed by Miloš Avramović, based on a screenplay by Petar Mihajlović and Avramović. It is the sequel to the 2018 film "South Wind". and the 2020 television series of the same name.
Petar Maraš is taking advantage of his acquired status as the undisputed leader of the Serbian underworld. Wanting to expand his business and return to the legal framework, Maraš invests illegally acquired money in legal businesses and, waiting for a favorable opportunity, he goes to eastern Serbia on a mission with his loyal sidekick Baća.Marašev's brother Nenad starts running the drug dealing business on his own, after which his associate sets him up with the Bulgarians, who kidnap him. When Maraš finds out about this, he illegally goes to Bulgaria and, while fleeing from the border police, manages to find out where his brother is.
They are helped by a Bulgarian who was set up along with Nenad, but survived by sheer luck. Together they attack the village where the criminal group that kidnaped Nenad is located...
