Tapija is a Serbian film from 2025 by director and screenwriter Luka Mihailović. The film premiered at the first edition of the Balkan Film Directing Festival.
The film opens with a femicide in a dark forest. Lucky (25 years old, kind-hearted, righteous, anxious, and paranoid), a graduate art historian, unemployed, and in a dead-end environment, decides to become independent at his great-grandfather's neglected weekend cottage.
Anxiety, sleep paralysis, and paranoia follow Lucky even in the idyllic countryside, and the feeling that someone is constantly watching him and that he is in the cottage with him grows. Things change when Lucky finds out he owns land that could change his life completely; he falls in love along the way, and the feeling of being haunted doesn't disappear in the small village where a murder has taken place.
