The Flesh

"Flesh" is a fierce, contemporary, and bold drama series that openly addresses the transition period in a small community. This series is the first part of a trilogy that also includes the series "Bones" and "Skin."

The main characters of the series "Flesh" are Mirko and Slavko—people whose names evoke past times, but who, each in their own way, are struggling with the problems caused by the time in which they live. Mirko (Igor Đorđević) is a central footballer nearing the end of his career, with an uncertain future in the sport. He returns to his hometown of Banja Luka, where his demented mother, introverted brother, and girlfriend live. Far from her own home, she craves attention and love, seeking them in the wrong ways.

He's renovating his father's grill house "Kod Rajka" there, of which only the reputation of their kebabs being "better than Mujini's" remains, although its fate is also uncertain, both for economic reasons and due to the plans of local criminals who are interested in the plot of land it's located on. One of them is Slavko (Nikola Pejaković), Mirko's childhood friend, who suddenly returns to his life just when he needs him the most.
