A comedy by genre, the series is a kind of homage to "The Truckers" from the 1970s. This is the story of two men, with completely different temperaments and interests, who probably would never have become friends, but life circumstances brought them together as friends and co-drivers...
It all begins with a chance encounter between Žića, a former chauffeur and later a librarian at a small village school near Ub, and Baje, a bus driver for the city transport company in Ub. That meeting will completely change their lives. Since they were both out of work, while watching a rerun of the series "Truckers" with the popular Čkalja and Pavle Vujisić, who played Jare and Paja, they decided to buy a truck and start a freight transport company.
Together, they go through a series of interesting, humorous, and socially relevant adventures, during which viewers can get to know the various fates of ordinary, so-called "small people" who live in the provinces and spend their daily lives in a completely different way compared to the "fast life" in bustling urban environments.
